Each wrestler is counted once in the State Medalists total. Wrestlers with at least one first-place finish are also counted once as State Champions. All individual results are listed under their names; champions are included in the medalist total.
About the Wall of Champions
How are state champions and medalists counted?
Each wrestler is counted once in the State Medalists total, regardless of how many listed state placements they have earned. A wrestler with at least one listed first-place finish is also counted once as a State Champion. Champions are included in the medalist total, so the two totals should not be added together.
Why does a wrestler have several results?
Wrestlers can earn placements in different years, styles, and divisions. We group those accomplishments under the wrestler’s name within each category and retain each individual result. Multiple results do not increase the number of individual champions or medalists.
Which competitions are included on the board?
The current board includes UIL State Championships, TX-USAW Youth Folkstyle results in Open, Girls, Middle School, Novice, and Rookie divisions, plus Freestyle and Greco-Roman State Championships. Each entry shows the year and placement, with division details where supplied.
How can I request an addition or correction?
Contact Dead Shot with the wrestler’s name, tournament name, year, division, and placement. Include an official result link or a photo of the results when available so the club can review the request.
Submit a results questionDoes my child need competition experience to join?
No. Beginners are welcome. Tell us your wrestler’s age, experience, and goals when requesting a free trial so staff can help identify a suitable training group. Staff will confirm the session and any required forms.
