Family discount

Every wrestler after the first is 50% off

Wrestling is a family sport here, and we don't think a second or third child should cost what the first one does. The highest-priced membership in your household pays the full rate; every additional wrestler is discounted automatically. You don't apply for it and you don't ask for it — it's applied when you enroll and it stays applied.

What dues don't cover

Monthly dues cover coaching and mat time. A few costs sit outside that, and we'd rather you hear them now than in October:

  • USAW membership — Required to compete in sanctioned events. Paid once a season directly to USA Wrestling, not to the club.
  • Tournament entry fees — Paid per event, and only for the events you choose to enter. Nobody is required to compete.
  • Gear — Wrestling shoes first, then headgear. Nothing is needed for a first practice, and coaches will tell you when it's worth buying.
  • Travel — Some tournaments are out of the Valley. Travel and lodging are on the family.

If cost is the thing standing between your kid and this room, talk to us before you walk away. Call 956-933-6240.

Common questions

Questions about cost

How much does Dead Shot Wrestling Club cost?

Membership is a flat monthly rate per wrestler that covers four practices a week, Monday through Thursday. There is no separate price by skill level — a first-year beginner and a state qualifier pay the same.

Families with more than one wrestler pay a reduced rate on every wrestler after the first. Current rates are listed above and are the same ones our system bills from.

How does the family discount work?

The highest-priced membership in your household pays the full rate, and every additional wrestler is discounted automatically. You don't apply for it or ask a coach — it's applied when you enroll and recalculated whenever you add or remove a wrestler.

It applies to wrestlers in the same household on monthly memberships. Cousins and teammates who live elsewhere are separate households.

Is there a contract or a long-term commitment?

No. Membership is month to month. Tell us before your next billing date and we'll stop it — there's no cancellation fee and no minimum number of months.

What else will I pay for beyond monthly dues?

USAW membership, tournament entry fees, gear and travel sit outside monthly dues. USAW is paid once a season directly to USA Wrestling; entry fees are per event and only for events you choose to enter.

Nothing is needed for a first practice. Wrestling shoes are the first real purchase and the coaches will tell you when the rest is worth buying.

Can we try a practice before paying?

Yes. Every new wrestler gets one free trial practice with no card on file and no obligation. Request a date and staff will confirm which practice block your wrestler belongs in.

How do I pay?

We accept cash, Zelle and Venmo today, and card payments are being added. Your balance, payment history and receipts all live in the member portal so you can see exactly what you were charged and when.

What if we can't afford it right now?

Talk to us before you walk away. We would rather have a conversation about timing or a payment plan than lose a kid who wants to wrestle. Call 956-933-6240 and ask for a coach.
