Who we are

A room built for development

Dead Shot Wrestling Club develops wrestlers from their first day on the mat through advanced competition and collegiate preparation. We are not a youth sports day-care — we are a competitive program with real coaching, real expectations, and a real path for every wrestler who walks through our doors.

Our coaches have built state qualifiers, collegiate recruits, and wrestlers who carry what they learn here into every part of their lives.

What we stand for

Discipline. Competition. Development.

Discipline

We build wrestlers who hold the line — on the mat, in the classroom, and in life. Discipline is the foundation everything else is built on.

Competition

We don't shy away from the harder match. We train to compete, then we compete to win, then we train harder.

Development

Every wrestler has a path. From first takedown to collegiate recruitment, our coaches map each athlete's progression.

Performance

Strength, conditioning, technique, and mental toughness — engineered for results when the lights come on.

Team Identity

We are Dead Shot. When one of us steps on the mat, the room is behind them. We push each other up.

Collegiate Ambition

For our wrestlers who want to wrestle in college, the path is real. We've sent athletes to Division I, II, and III programs.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Dead Shot Wrestling Club?

Dead Shot is a USAW-registered wrestling club in Alton, TX that trains boys and girls from kindergarten through high school, beginner through collegiate preparation. We practice Monday through Thursday, year-round.

We are a club, not a school team. Wrestlers train with us whether or not their school has a program, and many do both.

About Dead Shot

How do we get started?

Start with the free trial. Request a date, staff confirms which practice block fits your wrestler's grade, and you come to one real practice before deciding anything. No card, no commitment.

Does my wrestler need to compete in tournaments?

No. Plenty of our wrestlers train for the practice room and never enter an event, and that is a legitimate way to be part of this club. When a wrestler wants to compete, the coaches will tell you honestly whether they are ready.

What does it cost to train at Dead Shot?

One flat monthly rate per wrestler covering four practices a week, with a family discount on every wrestler after the first. Current rates are published and come straight from our billing system.
