Clean clothes, a water bottle, and a good attitude. Here's what to expect on day one at Dead Shot.
Keep it simple
The first practice is never as scary as it looks. Show up clean, show up ready, and the coaching staff handles the rest.
What to bring
- Clean athletic clothing — shorts and a t-shirt
- A water bottle
- Indoor wrestling shoes if you have them (if not, let us know)
- A good attitude and willingness to work
You do not need a singlet or any special gear for your first practice.
What to expect
Your wrestler will join a real practice at their level. We'll show them the basics, pair them with appropriate partners, and ease them into the work. Nobody is thrown to the wolves on day one.
For parents: you're welcome to stay and watch. You'll see how the room runs and meet the coaches.
After practice
Wrestlers are usually tired and a little sore — that's normal. They'll also usually want to come back. That's the sign.
